Clay Club Mini
Service Description
Clay club mini is for folks who are interested in some open play time with clay, but can only commit to one class at a time. Students can have a project in mind, or choose to simply come and see where their imagination leads them. Clay Club mini will be offered only twice a month, usually during the first and the last week. While this class is independent studio time, our clay instructor, Debbie Carlos, will be there to guide and teach basic techniques that will help students build their project. Clay Club Mini is for hand building only. Unfortunately, there is not enough time in one mini session for students to start and finish anything on the pottery wheel, so our wheels will be reserved for our monthly members. However, students are welcome to observe the demos and if students are in a class with free wheels, they are welcome to hop on and try their hand at throwing. Five lbs of white clay, basic clay tools, underglazes will be provided. Allow 2 weeks for the piece to dry and to be fired. Students will be notified when their piece is ready to be picked up. Please note that if students want to join the open studio membership, they must take a full month of clay club as a prerequisite.

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place.
