Service Description
This class covers "Construction Math 2" Builder's Theory provides the background knowledge about how builders construct a "stick-built" (wooden frame) home. There are a lot of resources that can teach you how to do something - but do you know why builders make certain choices about materials and installation? Come to all six topics or pick from the menu a la carte! Instructional methods will include lecture, show-and-tell with building materials, group work, and sample case studies so that you can make appropriate choices in either a DIY project or understanding what a contractor suggests for repairs to your home. $35 session (includes workbook) or $180 for all six. Each session runs two hours and balances lecture with practice and/or demonstration. (This is not a hands-on DIY repair course.)

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place.
