Box Making 101

Service Description

Using some of the same techniques as the frame-making class, students will make a small catch-all box using only hand tools to cut the miter and rabbet joints. Assembly and design will happen during class. Finishing will happen at home once the glue has dried. All materials will be provided. Tools Bench plane Shoulder plane Hand saw Miter Box Miter shooting board *Recommended prior classes: Hand Plane 101 and Hand Saw 101 *Recommended add-on class: Intro to wood-burning, create a design on your finished box! *Address provided in the booking confirmation email. You must be 18+ to book a Tiny Bit of School Workshop.
