Service Description
Make a hardcover journal to write all your most secretive thoughts in! All materials will be provided. Two part class, class 1 will be sewing a textblock, making bookcloth, and choosing decorative paper; class 2 will be assembling covers and casing in (attaching) textblocks. Bring your own fabric to make custom bookcloth. At least 10” x 12” though we may be able to work with smaller scraps. Cotton, linen, silk, and thinner fabrics, etc are all welcome, avoid bringing thicker denim, canvas, or leather. We’ll have scraps to choose from as well! Chloe P. Crawford is an artist currently teaching in the Art, Art History, and Design department at MSU. She has a BFA in Printmaking and Book Arts from the University of the Arts (RIP).

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place. If you would like to cancel your reservation, please email tinybitofwood@gmail.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. Thank you for understanding, Megan Shannon
