Get ready to take notes like you are a historian for this knowledge-packed class! We will discuss all the different types of wood materials and how to select the right kind for your build, including partial board, MDF, soft and hard woods, plywood and more. Moister content and seasonal lumber movement and how that will affect your build or furniture you already have. Understanding labels on wood selection in stores and what kinds of wood could potentially be harmful There are so many other fun facts I have to share and will be sure to leave time for you to ask any questions you might have.

Cancelation Policy

Class sizes are limited! If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible to allow for someone else to take your place! The following Cancellation Policy applies when participants are not canceling their attendance due to a COVID-19 related issue. If you have registered for a Tiny Bit of School workshop and you are no longer able to attend, our cancellation policy is as follows: -A full refund is available up to 7 days before your scheduled workshop date. -A 50% refund is available for cancellations submitted 1-6 days before the scheduled workshop date. -No refund will be issued for same-day cancellations. An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued.
