This is a skill-based class that will introduce you to the main and most commonly used power tools in a woodshop. We will learn what each tool is used for, different brands, and, most importantly, tips and tricks on how to use them safely. This is more of an informational class where students will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about power tools as well as a chance to get comfortable using them in the shop. A lot of woodshop power tools can also be used for DIY projects and home repair. Example of tools we will cover in this class: Miter Saw Power Drill and Drill Press Circular Saw Joiner and Planer And my favorite, the Bandsaw! This class is wheelchair accessible.
