Service Description

Everyone has a piece of furniture or two that could use some love, repair, or refinishing. In this class you will bring to the woodshop a piece you want to work on and learn how to repair whatever needs fixing. Because furniture repair is so vast, it is required that you email a brief description or photo of what needs to be fixed. This will allow me to have whatever tools or materials we need ready before class or to let you know if you need to select a different item in case the repair isn't appropriate for the class. If you have something large like a desk and have a way to bring it here, please do! While some projects might require more time than we have in class. We will focus on steps necessary to complete in a woodshop and you can finish up the remaining tasks at home. A special aspect to this class is every student will come with something different. Even if you are not repairing a leg on a dinning chair, someone in class might be and you can soak up that knowledge as well. The satisfaction of bring an old piece of wood furniture back to life it pretty darn great! This class is wheelchair accessible. Sitting workbenches available upon request. Deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly. Interpreter available upon request.
