Earth to Easel: Paint Making
Service Description
Im sure there was a time where is was common that artist mix their paint from a powder and this workshop will bring that back. In this class we will learn what supplies are need to make different types of paint, how to measure and mix pigments, all the different kinds of binders and more. You can use the same pigment and knowledge to make just about any type of medium. Students will have the own station and set of tools to work with. Dust mask will be required during a portion of class and provided but feel free to bring you own. We will be using non-toxic pigment from Earth Pigments a company that provides a huge array of colors made from minerals and not synthetic materials. Each student will mix one color and make both a watercolor and a acrylic. In this shop we share so at the end of the class everyone will take home a little bit of 10 different colors. Class includes standard size plastic pans for you to put your paint in. Wooden pallets, paint making kit, pigments and additional finished paint can also be purchased for you to take home.

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place.
