Service Description

This a wood shop exploration class where children will get to explore a wide verity or hand tools, see what they do and how to use them. There is so much to learn and try so this class will be offered every month. A little bit of the old school tools and a little bit of the new! This class will also help build child’s self-awareness, confidence, and patience. Classes will not have stricken lesson plan so kids can come over and over and choose the areas or skill they enjoy most. To start I with I will have kid’s classes once a month and will add more as these fill up. These classes are intended for students ages 5-16yrs old, each student will have their own kids' size woodworking bench. Kids can work at their own pace and explore however they want, to fit their individual personality. There will 2 staff members and 6 kids in each class. This is not just for safety but also to ensure each child gets the attention they need to fully enjoy the experience. Guardians must stay on site or within walking distance of the school.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or move students to a different class time for scheduling conflicts . The number of people asking to move their reservations is simply too high that the school can not afford to accommodate this and still keep class fees affordable. We do occasionally have a waitlist for classes, if someone is able to take your place you can be refunded or moved to a different class. Feel free to ask but again this is not guaranteed. Alternatively if you can not make it to your scheduled class you can always find someone you know to take your place. If you would like to cancel your reservation, please email tinybitofwood@gmail.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. Thank you for understanding, Megan Shannon
