Service Description
Just about everyone I know has a pet or two. They are part of the family and deserve the best! Eating while upright can help your pets with digestion. In this class we will learn how to make a raised pet feeder for your dog or cat. We will use hand tools for most of this build and a jigsaw or scroll saw to cut out the hole for the bowl to rest in. A fun and unique part of this build is that we use a special tool to make a wood screw for the legs that will allow you to change the height of the feeder as your pet grows. I will have 3 different designs and several Michigan Native woods for you to choose from. We will use a food safe finish like we would on a cutting board to make sure the feeder is safe for you pet. ***You must bring your own bowls for this class. You can bring one or two for this, but they must have a lip on the edge. This class is wheelchair accessible. Sitting workbenches available upon request. Deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly. Interpreter available upon request.
