Hand Saws 101

Service Description

Learn about several common woodworking hand saws and the different cuts they make. Spend some time practicing cuts such as dovetail, figure, and miter joints. In this class, we will also talk about teeth per inch and steel grade and how they affect your project. Tools Japanese pull saw Crosscut saw Dovetail saw Flush cut saw Coping saw *We recommend taking this class before the Frame and Box class *Address provided in the booking confirmation email. You must be 18+ to book a Tiny Bit of School Workshop.

Cancelation Policy

Class sizes are limited! If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible to allow for someone else to take your place! The following Cancellation Policy applies when participants are not canceling their attendance due to a COVID-19 related issue. If you have registered for a Tiny Bit of School workshop and you are no longer able to attend, our cancellation policy is as follows: -A full refund is available up to 7 days before your scheduled workshop date. -A 50% refund is available for cancellations submitted 1-6 days before the scheduled workshop date. -No refund will be issued for same-day cancellations. An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued.
