Service Description
This is a seasonal class only offered while Michigan has nice, plant-growing weather! Make your own outdoor cedar planter box, take it home, and fill it with your favorite plants. Each student will be provided enough cedar to build a 4 foot by 2 foot garden bed and standing 3 feet tall. You can customize tomized the size box you will build with the amount of lumber each students get I will provide mesh and garden fabric for lining your box. If you'd like to use a different permanent liner, please bring it with you. Like the Animal Habitat class, this will focus more on basic construction as opposed to complex wood joinery. Each student will have their own work space and tools for this build. This class is wheelchair accessible. Sitting workbenches available upon request. Deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly. Interpreter available upon request.
