Service Description
Hand carving a bowl is very different then using a power lathe to turn it into shape. Both are extremely fun and use a different set of skills. Bowl carving will be similar to spoon carving but on a larger scale and with an added tool the bowl adze. In this class you will pick from a few bowl designs I have prepared, or you can bring your own idea with you. There will also be serval native Michigan woods for you to choose from Oce you learn the steps to carve a bowl just like spoon carving you can do this almost anywhere and with few tools If we have nice weather on class day, we can do our carving outside in the woods. You can make as many as you want in the time we have during class so you could make a large fruit bowl or a few smaller ones. These also make great handmade gifts.

Cancellation Policy
Class sizes are limited! If you must cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible to allow for someone else to take your place! The following Cancellation Policy applies when participants are not canceling their attendance due to a COVID-19 related issue. If you have registered for a Tiny Bit of School workshop and you are no longer able to attend, our cancellation policy is as follows: -A full refund is available up to 7 days before your scheduled workshop date. -A 50% refund is available for cancellations submitted 1-6 days before the scheduled workshop date. -No refund will be issued for same-day cancellations. An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued.
